  • Cost-Effective Solar Energy

With the world shifting to renewable sources of energy, solar energy is gathering all the attention. Today, solar solutions are coming to the front of the energy debate for many residential energy needs. There are many countries like Germany that are making huge investments in solar platforms and technologies. Solar energy can be a cost-effective solution for anyone.

The sun produces a ton of energy, but solar panel systems have historically been very inefficient at converting it. But with improving technology, efficiency has improved to the point where most panel systems can easily produce enough energy to heat water for the home and pools. There are efficient and inefficient ways to go about this process.

Solar panels have Photovoltaic cells in the panels that mainly work by collecting the energy from the rays of the sun that falls on them. Such photovoltaic cells effectively convert solar energy into electricity for home use. With its effectiveness in converting solar energy into electricity, solar panel investments are increasing everyday.

Wind power comes into existence a long ago and it is one of the sources of generating electricity though it is not considered as the main source for obtaining benefits for commercial and home uses. Also coal, natural gases and oil are also the other sources for generating electricity, but there limited availability and rise in the prices made them as last option to generate electricity.

Wind power is environmentally inert, clean and inexhaustible source of electric power. From the wind mill to wind turbine, the wind has long been harnessed as an energy source.

I like to clear a layman only sunlight not its heat is used in solar cells to generate electricity. It can be said that the basic item needed to produce electricity is a solar cell and the life of a solar panel is approximately 20 to 25 years! So it is most cos effective way of electricity generation.

All renewable energies, other than geothermal and tidal, derive their energy from the sun. The Romans recognized a right to light as early as the 6th century and English law echoed these judgments with the Prescription Act of 1832. There are lot of solar energy applications.
