Can SamSung Model DSR9000 pick-up channels from Telstar5?

Hello everyone

I would like to watch VTV4 from Telstar5 and I wonder can the Samsung Model DSR9000 be used for Telstar5. Please email or post your information to tngu98@yahoo.ca. Thanks

That is a European version it seems, as it is not sold in the USA, but it should work fine for Telstar 5 FTA channels such as VTV4.

hi sadoun, I tried to looking for Telstar5 in the Sattelite Selector Menu, but there is no Sat. editor or listed Sat. to choose from. There are only Galaxy 10R, none1 to none14, and AsiaSat in the Sattelite Menu to choose for scanning the Channels. There is no Editor for those boxes to edit the Sattelite. I wonder is this Samsung DSR9000 only give me to choose whatever are avaible in this list. If you have any ideas please reply. Thanks

Just use any of the satellite name listed and "assume" it is Telstar 5. Let say none 5 = Telstar 5. Then enter Telstar 5 transponders Frequency, Polarity, and symbol rates into the receiver manually.

Aim the dish, scan the satellite, and enjoy the viewing.

Gooooood luck...
