How to add VTV4 manually on Satcruier DSR101 Plus

Hello!
I successfully setup the dish to catch the signals. There are a lot of channels except the VTV4. I search the information of this channel in order to add it manually.to my Satcruiser. Lyngsat.com shows me that the video PID is 4081, but I not sure the Audio PID is 257 or something else. I follow the instruction to add this channel. I got the picture but has the audio sometime.
Does anyone has information about VTV4 that I can add it to my Satcuiser.

Video PID: ????
Audio PID: ????
PCR PID: ????

Thanks for let me know.

The message below was posted by Bobkat on another section.
Following these steps below, you should be fine...:-)

OK guys - here's the scoop:

I heard from the rep for SatCruiser and he has been talking to the uplinker for xpdr 27, Pittsburgh Communications. Apparently when they were switching the channels around something happened with the datastream that SatCruiser receivers cannot adapt to during a transponder scan. Pittsburgh is working on a solution. Of course, they blamed the SatCruiser software first, natch

Now the goods news. The manual PID search WORKS !!!

Here's how to do it; I played around with this for a few hours - the manual sucks, don't even bother reading it:

- Menu
- Installation
- TP Configuration
- select "Telstar 5 KU"
- arrow down to "12,177" transponder; hit OK (make sure you have good signal and quality)
- arrow down to "Add Channel"; hit OK
- hit OK to enter channel name (keyboard will pop up - use arrows)
- arrow down to "Video PID"; enter data from lyngsat (eg:for VTV 4 VPID = 4081)
- arrow down to "Audio PID"; enter data (eg: for VTV 4 APID = 0257)
- arrow down to "PCR PID"; enter same value as for video PID
- arrow down to "Add"; hit OK; receiver will assign the next available TV channel number
- hit "Exit" to save this new channel; receiver will automatically scan for this channel only and add it to the TV channel list
- repeat the above procedure for all channels on xpdr 27 that you need

DO NOT rescan the channels using the conventional "Search Channels" feature from the TP Configuration menu -- this will erase the new channels and not find them again.

So there ya go, fellow geeksters ...

Hi all,

Can you help me?
I am using Digipro ds3001 reciever, problem is signal of VTV4 is too weak, so I try to redirect the disk toward Telstar 5, but it is not better.
After that I "rescan the channels using the conventional "Search Channels" ", and I lost all.
Could you give me some hind to bring it back.
I am in Los angerles, California,

Thanks

It's either your dish is not well alligned or not big enough to pull in good signal.
How big is the dish?

31" should be OK. Look like your dish is not well alligned.
