Loss of VTV4

As of last night I lost VTV4. I when and check the dish and it is fixed and hasnt moved. I checked the parameters and they are still the same. I got stronght signal & quality. I did an Auto Scan and the VTV4 disappear from my channel list.

Any body have any idea on what happen to VTV4 or it just me that's having this problem?

Thanks

Make sure you scan the right transponder; VTV4 moved to 11,966 HOR 22,000 SR quite some time ago but we find some people are still unaware of this.

You might have to try a manual channel scan, depending on your make and model of receiver. Try manually entering the VPID of 3105 and APID of 3106 and scan just that channel.

working here.

As Kat noted, IA5 likes to move stuff aorund. Globecast customers don't see the changes because the box does it automatically. But the FTA'ers have to change it

pretty sure VTV4 is NOT a Globecast channel...

and it is NOT on Globecast's tp.. (i think 11966 is Pitt.'s tp)

So not sure about Glbobecast customers vs. VTV4 because of that...

But in any case.. doing a manual tp scan (for every tp or for any individual one) on a regular basis or once in a while even - can NEVER hurt .. and actually, lol, often might bring some pleasant surprises

That's what FTA is all about basically

I got the same problem here with VTV4 and all the channels that were on that TP. The frequency is still the same at 11966MHZ SR22000 Horz ... and the signal disappeared yesterday. I tried to manually enter VPID at 3105 and VPID at 3106 but it also want me to enter CPID as well. I Anybody knows what this is? If I don't enter this value then all the PID numbers revert back to 0. Is this the reason why it stopped working? How come this didn't matter before?

I reallly appreciate the help. THis is very confusing.

the CPID is the same as the video pid in most cases. Otherwise 8190 works
