birdog and nimiq 1

birdog locks on directv, dish network satellites, t5, g3r but im having trouble on nimiq 1 i found the satellite but it does not give me a FOUND on the machine but searching and the signal is low(like 1/2). yet when i connect to the reciever i got a 99% signal. is there something wrong or new firmware on the machine? it would be nice to see a FOUND word on nimiq 1 and 2.

My Birdog (yes, Sadoun I finally bought one... :wink: ) will detect Nimiq 91 but not Nimiq 82 for some strange reason. No problem though because you just preset the skew for your area, then connect the Birdog to the 91 LNB and tweak the alignment. Since the Birdog identifies and locks onto both Nimiq 91 and Nimiq 82 as "91" make sure you don't mistake Nimiq 82 for Nimiq 91 - but since you know Nimiq 82 is east of Nimiq 91 its easy.

If your Birdog will not find Nimiq 91 then you should log onto the site and download the latest software. Mine works great !!!
