Pansat 2500A pickin up viet channels

i currently run the pansat 2500a with a smaller dish...i hear if i get a 30" + dish i can pick up viet channels in cali and in vietnam...so my question is do i have to buy two 30" + dishes to get both vietnam and calii or can i buy a motor for the dish and it'll pick up both satellites?

You can buy a 95 cm dish and two LNBs and a DiSEqC switch. This will allow the one dish to "see" both satellites that carry the two Viet channels; IA5 and AMC4. They are only 4 degrees apart. Or you could get two 80 cm. dishes or one dish and a motor.

If you only want the 2 Viet channels go with the 95 cm and 2 LNBs; if you want to channel surf then get a motor.

I don't know if Sadoun carries exactly a 95 cm, It doesn't need to be 95 cm. Just that bigger dishes are easier to find signal from two satellites. You could use a 90 or even 85 cm. but I wouldn't go any smaller than that. Motors are good in the winter. Mine never freezes up.

I don't know, I have never seen one. You will need at least a 33" dish so if the Superdish is 33" then it might work.
