New vietnamese channel coming soon HTVC

Ông Huỳnh Văn Nam - Giám đốc Đài Truyền hình TP.HCM cho biết, HTV đang trong quá trình triển khai thiết bị, chuẩn bị xây dựng chương trình để khoảng cuối tháng 8/2005 sẽ chính thức phát sóng qua vệ tinh trên kênh HTVC, đáp ứng nhu cầu xem chương trình truyền hình Việt Nam của người Việt ở nước ngoài.
HTVC sẽ phát sóng những chương trình được chọn lọc, giới thiệu các vở cải lương, kịch, chương trình ca nhạc dân tộc, phim ảnh Việt Nam, chương trình giới thiệu người Việt ở nước ngoài. Một số chương trình thiếu nhi sẽ được phụ đề tiếng Việt, một số phim Việt sẽ có phụ đề tiếng Anh. Mỗi ngày HTV sẽ phát 24 tiếng, mỗi chương trình 8 tiếng được phát lại ba lần để phù hợp với các múi giờ tại các nước khác nhau từ Mỹ, Úc và các nước châu Âu, Đông Âu, Tây Âu. Như vậy, sau kênh VTV4 của Đài Truyền hình Việt Nam, HTVC là kênh truyền hình thứ hai dành cho người Việt ở nước ngoài.

Mr. Huynh Van Nam- President of Vietnamese Television Division in HoChiMinh City informs that HTV is on its path in preparing to build up the program to be ready at the end of August 2005. It will be air through HTVC frequency on International Satellite which will try to meet the needs for the Vietnamese from oversea who like to watch Vietnamese TV channels.
HTVC will air many selected programs, introduce many programs as Cai Luong, Drammas, Vietnamese Cultural Music , Vietnamese Movies, and programs from Vietnamese abroad television . The children programs will have subtitled in Vietnamese and Vietnamese Films will have its English subtitled attached . HTV will air 24 hours / day, each program will have 8 hours which will be divided to be repeated 3 times a day to allow people from USA, Australia, and European to have a chance to watch if missing part of its program or whole program .
HTVC will be the second program that provided for the Vietnamese people from oversea ( VTV4 is the 1st as of now )

I wonder if they will be, - will they be on IA5 (former Telstar 5) as well (same as VTV4) .. or somewhere else?

Must be it.. cuz it's Vietnamese.. (if click on them it has www site for it too there)...

The only thing.. - it's "Measat 1 at 91.5°E" - 91.5 E .. - not sure if one can get this one from North America...

I think they CANNOT get this 91.5 E from North America.. but some expert(s) maybe can cofirm this
