I just got a Pansat 2500A and need help in seting it up for vietnamese channels. I have been reading the forums and see that t5 is the satellite i need to point at. is t5/ku the same? Please can someone help me set it up
First of all what kind of dish and LNB did you get? For UNIVERSAL LNBs the L.O. frequency is 10,600 MHz and for STANDARD LNBs it is 10,750 MHz. You must set up your receiver accordingly. Do some reading in the VTV4 forum and get some ideas. Also check out www.lyngsat.com for information on T5 (now called IA5).
The Vietnamese channel is VTV4 and it is on transponder (tp) 27.
