Question about Pansat IRD.

is it possible 2 pansat ird using same dish? if yes, what kind of splitter do i need?

You need a dual output LNB. Splitters will not work.

Or you can connect receiver two to receiver one's IF loop (and use a DC blocker), but in that case receiver one will have to be on (because it is powering the LNB) and whatever polarity you are tuned to on receiver one you will only be able to tune in to that polarity on receiver two.

Yeah, but its such a PIA that way... :roll: It will work but the logistics are cumbersome. For example, he would have to run two coax cables into the room with the first IRD; one to feed signal to the IRD and the other to feed signal back outside the house and then into the room where the other IRD is. Major bummer. It would be better to use a 1-port DC pass H.F. splitter at the dish and then run your separate RG6's to each IRD. But you still have the polarity issues like you say, vj. :?

I always recommend dedicated lines for each IRD.
