THat channel is encrypted and cannot be received with your receiver.

G13 is C band side at that location. Ku band is H1.

You Can Get AAD on on Pansat

all you have to do is to your add a new satellite screen and just enter for the frequency 11720 and for the symbol rate is 26000 then go outside with your 18" dish from DTV with the KU LNB attach and you should catch about 15 channel witch include AAD

Are you sure that 18" dish is enough to receive channels on H1? And besides that, AAD will stil be encrypted an you will need a subscription for ti.

Guys,

G13 (127 W) is a Ku band satellite and it uses Linear Lnb (NOT DBS Lnb - DBS Lnb which sometimes refer to as CIRCULAR Lnb uses for Directv and Dishnet).
In order to receiver this satellite like the Telstar5 (T5 is for VTV4), you need to have dish size at least 30" in the US ( Can't do it with 18").
Yes, the AAD channel is encrypted### First you mention the strict rules and then you break them. Deleted by vj9999####

Good luck

Re: You Can Get AAD on on Pansat

Very misleading info. Dish is way too small....please don't mislead others by posting info you are not sure.

it does work.

What i did was i use a multi satellite dish from DTV and I put a duel linear LNB that is shape exactly like the one from DTV but it is a Ku LNBF. I took the triple LNB from DTV out and plug this one in just like you would do a single LNB from DTV single dish. I don't know what is the elevation but i just move it up two notches like there was no elevation at all and i turn it toward the 0 degree west and i got a signal. That is exactly how i did it and it worked. if anyone need help i will be glad to answer questions or proved it to you. As of right now i have 15 chinese channel witch include AAD. If you have a regular satellite finder it will help.

It would be a first I heard, but I'll take your word for it. Also, I am assuming you are saying that AAD scans in but it is still scrambled.

What is your signal quality?

you see if you don't put in the lnbf of 11720 and the exact symbol rate of 26000 you will not get the channels to work. I can only get my signal quality from 10 to 60 but it does not stay still, it keep going up and down. You only have to enter the 11720 and 26000 (V) TP and scan if you get a signal. you will have 15 channels with AAD in it. and no you can see it, it is not scambled

Symbol rate is 26800. I have a 31" dish and consistent signal quality of 85%. AAD is scrambled using my Fortec Ultra and in TSReader it shows as encrypted.

try different symbol rate

if you put in the 26000 symbol rate and scan your channels you will get it to come up. I tried to use the symbol rate that lyngsat gives but that does not come up. try to do a TP scan and scan just frequency 11720 and symbol rate 26000 vertical
