Telstar5 for VTV4 with FSKU4v Universal 0.7db QUAD KU LNBF
Hi,
I just bought the "FSKU4v Universal 0.7db QUAD KU LNBF " from here (Sadoun), &, try to get VTV4, &, I am still not able to get it. Original, I have a Fortec Star 30" , & singal LNBF. And, I was able to get VTV4 on Telstar 5 at TP 12177. And, I changed the quad lnbf for multiple receivers, &, I am not able to get the VTV4 now. When I scan the TP 12177, I am getting only
11 FTV
12 TRT
13 BUSINESS TV
14 CCN
And, my singal level is 76%, and, Quality level is 75%. Can you tell me why I am not able get it with QUAD KU LNBF. Is there some setting changes I need to make on my receiver.
Thanks..............

I had the same problem during the weekend. VTV4 and a few channel on 12177 did not show up at all on the satellite search. I run a TP search only on 12177, and it did show up, but the channel is bad : no sound/picture.
It turned out that the search recognized VTV4 channel, but somehow can not get the Video PID, Audio PID, and PCR PID values.
I finally get VTV4 when I used the Advanced Search using specific values for those PIDs. I don't have them with me at this time, but someone may be able to post, or I can do it later this evening
By the way, the receiver is the Fortech Star Lifetime Ultra.

And, this afternoon, when I try to watch MRTV3 on VTV4, all I see is COLOR stripes on the screen........ Does anyone knows what is going on????????? Any help is appreciated......

We are not sure what is going on but they have been having technical problems for the last couple of weeks. My advice is not to rescan transponder 12,177 MHz until VTV4 gets the problems worked out. Otherwise you will need to scan the channel in manually by inputting the VPID and APID.
The color bars are normal; I'm not sure what happened to the MRTV channel... :?:
But VTV4 is coming on every night at 9:00 PM EST as usual.

MRTV-3 (english version) should broadcast during night hours (Myanmar time), in afternoon eastern time.
But since a few days, there is no more transmission of MRTV-3 who seem to be replace by MRTV (domestic network) color bars, because it is night hours Myanmar time. The program of the domestic network begins at 8h30 pm eastern, by the national anthem and religious songs, but for only 30 minutes since VTV4 is on the air at 9pm eastern.
