VTV 4

Today, 22 July 2004, VTV 4 has broadcast all day. I usually go to sleep watching VTV 4 and wakeup to a Car World or to Mayamar TV. Today I got a pleasant surprise when I turned on the television and was able to watch VTV 4 even until now (3:30 CST). Maybe this is a change to 24/7 broadcasting of VTV 4? We will have to wait to find out. Even if it is repeats, we will be able to watch our favorite channel during reasonable hours instead of having to stay up until all hours of the night!

No official announcement from VTV. This happened in the past. Sometimes the sat turn-arround uplinker forgets to switch the program. This channel is shared by 3 programs, VTV4, CarTV and MRTV.

Sometimes they have IBA, Dr.Dish and other live feeds or events broadcasted on this channel.

As of 9:55 PM EST they are showing color bars so I think Michael is right -- uplinker screwups.... :roll:

Seems to be back on schedule now but the audio quality sux -- seems very distorted almost like they have their master volume turned up way too high.
