need help? trying to get vt4

i have setup the satellite and have established signal with telstar 5.
i dont know what channel the vt4 is on and how to locate it. i have channel scan and my channel list goes up to 91. i heard teh vt4 is on channel 106. do i need to wait till 8 pm to channel scan before i can reicieve the channel? i live in louisiana. thanks

Ty,
The VTV4 is availble from 9 pm - 5 am ET. Check the channel list to see if you have the one name "VTV4". If not, very good chance your receiver does not have all the transponders updated. You can manually key in :
freq : 12177
polarization: V
Symbol Rate: 23000.
Then scan this transponder will get you the VTV4.
