VTV4 & IBLive But Cannot get Saigon :(

I have a Fortec Lifetime Ultra with a Fortec I think 36 dish. And Invacom QPH-031 Quad LNB. Only using for one Receiver right now. Anyhow. I cannot get the new Saigon channel. I can get the other two. Seems to me I cannot get any V stations, just the H. I have it set to "Standard" not universal. Any ideas? Is very frustration. Seems like the recieve is not picking any Vertical. The signal strength and Quality Strength are high, upper 70's to lower 80's. I live in South East Pennsylvania. Any help would be awesome! Seems like I have all the settings for the Sat correct. Is there some kind of setting I need to set the box for it to pick up Vertical? Is so strange I can pick up Horizontal no problems.

    Thanks in advance!

    Chris

    TT

Thank you for your reply. I can't read Vietnamese. I am doing this for my parents. But I see what you are writing and I know the frequency of the channel but when you go to enter it in, there is no signal for All "V" TP's. I have everything else set right. Like I said, I can view all channels on "H" including the VTV4 & IBLive channelss.

    Thank You for your response

BTW, do you understand VNamese? Let's me translate:

Like I said, I have this same one and set Standard.
    ...
You might need to double check your settings. If still not success then try to change TP to 12116 and then rescan TP. Good luck!

One other suggestion, you might want to replace the cable too. If you dont have good grounding on the cable then the receiver may have hard time to recognize the signal quality. It's always happen like that too.

hmmm... signal strength is very good. It is just so frustrating I can get the other two and not this one. I tried to manually enter the TP and then scanning but no good. The "V" TP's have no signal. I am wondering if I have a setting on the Fortec that is wrong?

    Thanks!

So, do you have any other stb that you can test with? I'm 100% sure on this Inv QPH-031 quad C,L,C,L LNB 'cause I'm using it. I've tested with VSPro, SV8,4,1K, Pansat2500A, NeoSat Ipro, CS4,5,6K, and CW800S. They all work!

Again, check your cable make sure it is RG6 Quad Shield cable. It's the best for satellite cable that you can get it at HDepot/Lowe's.

Thanks for the input. Well, I have a CS 6000 I am going to try it with again. I had tried it once before but could not get a signal so I gave up. I was at my brothers house and his (CS 6000) also had no signal but when I did a scan, it found all the channels. The only difference between my brothers setup and my parents is that his setup does not have a motor and my parents does. So I am thinking I may have some settings wrong on the CS 6000.

Any help with the CS 6000 w/motor attached to the dish would be great!

    Thanks!

Wait a minute! I thought you said that you have connected directly from LNB to receiver but never mention about the motor. If going through the motor then you must have the Motor option turned ON/ENABLE. If you are testing from output of Motor to receiver then it could be the motor controller unit is bad. Try not to go through the motor to eliminate the odd. TT
