Hi Duc:
There is no way you can get G25 (97) with a Dish 500. It is too small. You were hitting a different satellite if you got any signal. You will need at least a 33" dish for VTV4. Plus, you need a linear LNB; not the circular kind on the Dish 500.

Well that is amazing. I have never heard of anyone pulling in IA5 with a 20" dish before. If you are getting LAOS TV then you are on 97. Check out the channel listing here ---> Galaxy 25 at 97.0°W - LyngSat
You have hit 97 but I still think that dish is too small to bring in a decent signal and quality for the VTV4 channel; its transponder is pretty weak compared to the others. If you put up a bigger dish it will really make a difference for you.

Now this is interesting. I have a pile of DN & DTV dishes in the barn. Wonder if I can catch either 79 or 123 with one of them and the circular lnbf.

I'm beginning to wonder if the poster isn't confusing the name "Dish500" with a larger dish.

I don't have a linear LNB for the 18" dish, just the one circular one, so I can't test this out. I would love to try to get in IA5, or Galaxy 10 on the 18" dish.
You could measure it and tell us how far across it is in inches or cm.
All that I can get on my 18" DBS dish is Dish Net satellites and Nimiq 1 and 2. Not much FTA programming on those though. NASA and WOUB mostly all that I can watch, but a few splash screens with cool jazz.
