I don't know what this station is, but the language sounds like Vietnamese. It shows up as VPR after a scan. I appear to be receiving this station FTA using my Fortec Classic receiver. It's not Direct TV as far as I can tell, besides, I am using a linear LNB.

I actually see 3 audio channels not listed in Lyngsat, that VPR1, a VPR2, which doesn't seem to have any audio on it right now, and a third one called MTI2, which has english music on it right now.
But in any event, although there is a lot of DTV stuff on this sat, this transponder is not one of the DTV transponders. Since it's FTA, obviously no subscription needed.

Actually, there are 5 audio channels that I am picking up from G3C. MTI1 is playing english music but it is actually Family Dollar Store radio!!. MTI2 as you said also plays english music. ILLO?? is an audio to a racetrack horse/dog. VPR1 is the one with Vietnamese content. If someone out there understands vietnamese, please listen to this station and see if you can identify the content. VPR2 is silent.

Great, at least that is a start. Do you know if this is broadcast from USA or Vietnam? Government backed? Private? If you have more info, you can make a personal submission to Lyngsat.com, so they can add it to their satellite list. Thus more people can enjoy these stations.
I think the radio station MTI1 is really interesting because they are advertising specials all the time. Anyway, at Family Dollar Store, how low can the prices go down??

Right now there is content coming out of VPR2, but the volume is really low. You really have to turn up your volume to hear it.

I have a Fortec Mercury II receiver and wonder how to make it works on my radio system. Do I need a home audio system w/ 75 Ohm connector to make it work?
Regards,

Here's what you need to do. Rescan the G3C satellite. After doing so, the radio stations will be updated. Press the radio button on your Fortec remote (which toggles it from TV). You will see a static screen, press the radio button again and you will see a list of the 5 radio stations, 2 of which are in vietnamese. No additional equipment is needed.

if your radio unit has a optical input you can use a optical cable to run it.

Rainman's idea should work. Another idea to buy a stand alone splitter box. I brought one for my mom from WalMart. It allows you to convert a cable signal into individual video and audio components, ie red, white, yellow output. This way, you could feed the radio directly from the satellite receiver through the converter box. If my memory serves me right, they are about $14.

My audio system does not have a digital audio interface (an old Yamaha receiver with special 2-ohm impedence to drive 2-ohm KEF speakers). I forgot about the audio interface (w/ RCA connector) behind the Mercury II and receiver. I think it will work fine without having a stand alone splitter box.
