Question about FSKU4V LNBF

I just did an instal for a neighbor. Was unable to recieve any signal with the quad LNBF. I put in a DTV 101 LNB and was able to get signal - then went to the original 1 output that came with the dish and got signal. Any clue what I did wrong? Do I have a bad LNBF? Seems like there should have been a different bracket to attach to the dish (GlobeCast 75 Elliptical). Thanks for any help!

BTW - I was using a birdog to tune
