I am not sure if you have a motorized or a stationary dish. Whatever it is, I am assuming it is pointed correctly at the Galaxy25 (IA5) at 97W.

Go to the menu and select the Intelsat 5 satellite at 97W. Find the auto scan option and simply scan the satellite. If the dish is pointed correctly, you should see the correct satellite displayed on the top of the menu. Once the scan is complete, you should have VTV4 among other channels on that satellite.

Not sure if you mean:

1) I Did But it Does not Work

or

2) I Did and it Does Work

If you want help, you have to be more specific. There are many knowledgeable users here who helped me with my dish setup, but you have to give them more information to work with.

As the other responder said, you have to give more details. The 10750 may or may not be right, because it depends on the LNBF you have, and you haven't said what that is. Also, I'm not sure what you are referring to re the 11489. I'm guessing that you're referring to what Lyngsat lists as a signal at 11749 (actually 11751), assuming that you inverted the 4 and the 7, then mis-typed the 7 as an 8???? If so, your best bet is to set up the receiver to this (or any other known transponder), in order to search for the satellite. My personal opinion is that it doesn't do a lot of good to do blind scans until you know you're on a satellite.
But make sure that your receiver has the proper SR value for whatever frequency you choose. But anyway, you need to indicate what equipment (particularly lnbf) you have, what settings you have entered into the receiver, and what you have done to locate the satellite.
