Hi, I'm a suscriptor of DirecTV Latinamerica, and I live in Montevideo, Uruguay.
I wanna buy a DVB-S card, to see FTA channels and record the digital stream into the computer. Besides, I wanna see the DirecTV channels in my PC, so I need to buy a card with CAM module.
I'm interested in the Twinhan VisionDTV -Sat-CI VP1030A CI.

My question is, this card support the DirecTV system? If the answer is yes, what CAM module I need for my smartcard (it says NDS on the cover), and where I can buy it ?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor english.![]()
I think the answer is no, you can't watch DTV with a DVB receiver, even if it has a CAM and you have a subscribed card. DTV is not in DVB format. And even if it were, they wouldn't allow you to subscribe through a generic receiver. ...... Unless things are very different with respect to their South American service, but I doubt that........
