Aiming the Dish to Express A3 sat

    Hello,
I have been spending days on the roof trying to point my Dish to Express A3, so far I have not been able to lock any channel upon scan. I purchased a SF-95 signal meter. I can use any help and advise. I have:

    1. WINEGARD DS-2077 31" dish.

    2. Coolsat Dual Output KU Band Standard LNBF - Linear

    3. 25 feet coax from LNB + coax connector to receiver (no switch)

    4. Starbox Twinhan Visionplus USB FTA Satellite receiver

    5. Windows XP, TwinhanDTV driver.

I live in zip code 02919 and tried my best to point my dish to Azim:124.2 degree and Elev:13.1 degree. The best signal strength I was able to point my dish to ranges from 38% - 43% (according to TwinhanDTV software). My quality bar stays at %0 while strength fluctuates from 35%-40%.

    Thank you.

That satellite is mainly pointed for Europe, although some of the footprints do seem to catch the NE Usa...

But I've never heard of anyone asking for or receiving that one in the US.

Do you have any information that it's actually viewable in the USA?

And the C-band is circular and quite weak.

would you be talking about the 2 "medditerannio" channels?

If so, if you click on the right side where it says "beam" and you can see where the signal goes.
And when you do, you see that the blue & pink blob is all pointed at EU.
So no signal in USA... sorry

these 2 channels are c band you would need a 8.5 foot dish and a circular c band feedhorn like the bsc 621 to receive them in the eastern US.
