Twinhan 7021 USB. HH2100 Motor..Singal finder. HELP Please!

I bought twinhan USB with HH2100 motor. (Motorizd bundle from sadoun).
This has been my long week end project.. I am loosing my patience,.somebody help me...

I fixed the satellite dish in my balcony, with true south. Installed motor-LNB and USB receiver and pentium-m 1.65 GHz laptop. Intalled new driver from twinhan. I set longitude -88.73 ans lattitude is 41.23. (my zip code 60504).I was able to move the dish using twinhan software.

However, I didn't get any Signal so far. I adjusted the dish elevation several times.. ..no clue why signal strengh shows 0 and quality is zero in the software.

I just added a signal finder in between LNB-motor and receiver. Signal finder shows all time High...even if i disconnect the meter from lnb and i am not able to move the motor using twinhan software if i connect the signal finder between LnB->motor->signal finder-> USB receiver . If remove the signal finder, moving the motor works fine. but...i don;t know how to find that i am getting sinnal or not.
currently i am pointed to Galaxy10R. and trying all the the west side FTA satellites...any help would be really appricited..Thanks!

Thanks for your reply.

No luck yet....
Set to true south and clear sky. 44 degree in clamp-motor.
30-6 = 24 degrees dish elevation. Signal meter shows full scal signal..(not sure whether it is broken or not) but twinhan software shows no signal at all. Mytheate doesn;t show anything.
should i change the LNB1 = 11300 and LNB2= 11300 (other thread said it is LO)
I don;t know how to check my USB receiver broken or not.
mytheatre detects the USB box, however red color letters Twinhan DVB-S VP7021. 0% -0%.
no idea how to debug the whole thing.

Turn the dial on the signal meter so that it reads a bit less than half scale, then watch for that to increase when you are aimed at a sat. If it is reading full scale, then it has no where to go when you see a sat.

You set your LNB freqs to match your LNBF, and you have not indicated what LNBF you have. You probably have either a "standard" 10750 or a "Universal" with 9750/10600 . Your software should be set to whatever you have.

I've never heard of any LNBF with an 11300 LO freq.

Thanks for your reply.

I have this LNBF.
http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Products/S/KUL1.JPG

About the finder, even if i set the knob to the lowest level, the meter shows highest level. I set SR in the back side of the meter to zero level. still shows the high. Dish has the motor. When i close and reopen the software, meter is around 1. when i start moving the motor, signal meter shows the highest. even if i remove the cable which comes from the dish, still meter is at its peak. I disconnected the signal finder since it is useless and with signal meter, i wasn't able to move the motor.

Attached picture is the twinhan software setup that i have now.

You have it set on Universal lnbf, however your lnbf is a standard. You need to set the software to match your hardware.

Also, where do you have the meter located, relative to the dish and motor?
I think you should have the meter between the motor and LNBF, you may have run too much current through the meter when connected before the motor.

Thanks for the reply. now I placed meter between Motor and LNBF and set software lnb type = Normal.
When I start software meter shows High. However, If i move the motor, meter shows around 5 but motor is not moving and motors shows blinking orange. I had to restart the software to reset the motor.
I think, the Meter and motor having problem sharing the current.

My advice is to borrow an STB just for dish/motor tuneup, beleive me with Twinhan, and especially with it's software, I could not lock on any satellite, so the same with cheap SF-95 (that one I purchased with battery pack, so had no trouble with voltage at least, but did not help anyway, these cheap signal meters are good only for Echo sats)

Finally It works! I borrowed Pansat 3500 from my friend's friend. And took my TV near to the Dish...made some adjustments. I think...I made a mistake with True South like +/- 2 degrees. Once i fixed the Dish, I started playing with Twinhan usb receiver.
Twinhan Software is ABSOLUTELY useless. Uninstalled it and Installed Mytheatre trial version..I love it. Downloaded new tp list from other sites and scanned...I get all green channels from AMC 1 -pentagon etc. With Motor...its lot of fun.
Channal change takes lot of time. USB receiver getting over heated..motor is not moving...i got to power off/on the receiver.
not sure about HDTV.
With MT i can pause..record.. all are satisfactoty.
I am going to get neusat , for cheaper price from ebay...lets see how it works.

Thanks to every one helped me
