Signal strength bar stables, but quality signal bar isn't

I'm using Microyal 900 with 30" dish to get T5. I always got the stable signal strength from 65-78%, but the quality signal is so fluctuated. it jumps around from 25 to 68%. Does anyone has the same problem? Every time i press "Search 1 Sat", it searchs for all TP in T5 and then displayed "No program found". Can anyone help me? I wonder does the color of signal strength bar and quality signal bar change when it hits the right T5 sat? if anyone has known, please reply. Thanks in advance.

Microyals are pieces of junk -- avoid them at all costs. However, seeing that you already own one  the best thing to do is contact whoever you bought it from and ask about dish alignment procedure. Sounds to me like your dish is not aligned properly -- ie: its on the wrong satellite.

Bobkat, thank you for your replied messages. Would you please advise me which brand of receiver is good to use? I knew there are few brands on the market: eg, Satcruiser, BEC, ProtecStar, PanSat and SamSung. Please let me know any other brands if you've known and recommend which brand and its models is good to use. Thanks in advance!!

Well, SatCruiser are excellent receivers and are very user friendly. I believe Fortec are good too from what I hear. Samsung are flakey IMHO. BEC are good but tend to be a little confusing for the novice user. EmTech are good if you can find them.

I have a BEC 2000 and Fortec 786v3. Both are good and user friendly.
