what type of lnbf for services

Is their a list of what type of lnbf's you need for certain services with unscrambled channels?

Star Choice uses ??

ExpressVU Uses ??

Directv/dishnet uses Circular lnbf

Hits uses ??

T5 uses universal lnbf

Any help would be so helpful! As I own a directv lnb and an old primestar lnb that has a separate V/H plugs.

bobkat has a spectacular aura aboutbobkat has a spectacular aura about
1) StarChoice uses linear polarization LNBs

2) ExpressVu, DirecTV and DishNetwork all use circular polarization (in fact, LNBs for all three are interchangeable)

3) T5 uses linear polarization LNBs - both standard and universal will work

4) What is HITS ?

Below is the link about HITS:
http://www.hits.com/
It provides programs for small cable companies.
HITS is on Galaxy 4R, standard Ku.

OK...

Thank you very much. I have got an old Primestar dish and I didn't know if I could mount two LNBs on it. So, I was wondering what type of lnb to buy. But someone told me I could mount two lnbs on it, if I mount the universal as the main, and mount the circular lnb next to it, since the dishnet sends out a stronger signal. Do you know if this is true??

Yes, that is true ... DishNetwork and DirecTV and ExpressVu have much stronger signals than Telstar 5.

You could probably get away with mounting two LNBs on that ugly old PrimeStar birdbath...
