Your calculations look fine to me. AMC3 would be your "true south" satellite at an azimuth of 182 degrees and an elevation of 41 degrees. For a list of good transponders to check for signal --->
http://www.lyngsat.com/amc3.shtml Use the KU band transponders (11,000 MHz and higher) and look for the yellow "DVB" channels to set your receiver parameters.
If you are going to install a motor - I just assume you are since you make reference to "true south" make sure to read
sadoun's motor
installation instructions - dish elevation will be totally different than it would be for a non-motorized install.
