Annoying Apartment Managers

Well I had a grand vision of placing my dish mount in a nice location which apparently is So Very Dangerous the apt people won't let me do it. I didn't want to get into How Everyone Else Was Doing It (at the complex, hanging out over the deck, installing into the wood, dishes on cinderblocks 4 feet away from the rentors patio (horrors!)). So my question is, does anyone know of a good freestanding mount for a dish that's solid and can be moved around if the apartment management starts getting uppity again? I know about the FCC laws, and would like a link to them again to peruse, but AFAIK you can do whatever you want in your own space. Outside of that - nada.

My concern is the SW will be more blocked than I originally anticipated, if I have to keep the dish prepostously inside the deck. I want to have something that I can sneak out to where I really wanted it, but move it if I get busted. I don't really want to go buy a cinderblock and drill around - don't own a drill and don't want to buy/rent one. BTW the dish will be motorized. I hope to not have to move it around all the time; the true goal is to make it actually permanent w/o digging.

I've got just the ticket - its a steel plate (really heavy - like 50 pounds) with an aluminum mast; its fully adjustable and sits solid. I use one on my flat commercial roof and I too have a motor - so far it has withstood many windstorms without even budging - and I did not weigh the plate down with concrete blocks like the manufacturer suggests.

I am going to first try lashing down the included mount plate to the patio decking with some of those metal band things that you can screw super tight. I can't drill into the wood or anything. Since paint is so very expensive :evil:

If that doesn't work I'll try the plate or an RV tripod mount outside the patio. The problem may be if they care that I'm going outside of my exclusive use area, or not.
