102g nightmare

This has turned out to be one of the most frustrating jobs I have ever attempted. I did not enter into this without some experience at this sort of thing. Installed 2 C-Band systems a few yearsago, also installed my current D***N****** system.I can't get any channels. As much as 65 signal. but no quality. Absolutely no quality no matter what I try.

Here is my equipment list.
102g
sg2100
qph-o31
winegard 2076
Dell 8400 PC p43.0 1gig ram Ati Pci-express video card
My lat. is 36.470
My long. is 86.65
This makes my true south bird AMC3 right?
Set the el on motor to slightly more than 36 on the scale.
Set the el on the dish to slightly more than 24.
Set the az at 183.6
The bolts are getting worn I have adjusted these settings so many times.

Tried the Twinhan software, Mytheatre 3.33, and Progdvb. Installed all of these multiple times. Removed 102g from device manager and reinstalled many times. Everytime I install the Twinhan drivers I get a popup asking for DTVWDM.sys and DTVVIDEO.sys. Just for curiosity I hooked the coax from my D***N****** to the 102g and scanned with Mytheatre. It lightup like a Christmas tree. All scrambled of course. 102g must be working. So I am down to these options.
1. Faulty driver install
2. Power supply to small on pc
3. Bad lnb
4. Dummie doesn't know what he is doing
Thanks for any advice

I don't have any of the hardware you have, so I didn't want to reply, but since no-one else did, I'll try.
First of all, since you're getting a lock on the DN channels, it sounds like your card is working. There could be several reasons why you aren't getting the linear FTA channels.
First, the LNBF you're using is a dual, CP/linear , and although I don't have experience with these, I'm guessing that these will be less sensitive than one dedicated to either mode. And since you are also using a 76 CM dish, which is marginal size wise, it may be that you aren't getting enough signal.
However it may also be that you just aren't aiming the dish correctly. Your azimuth and motor angle settings seem appropriate, however I am not sure about the angle on the dish itself, as the markings on different dishes are not always the same, so you might double check that this setting is correct.
However what I think is most likely is that you aren't using the proper LO freq for your LNB, and/or the software isn't properly switching your LNB's polarity corectly. You haven't mentioned what LNB "TYPE" and "LO FREQ" you are using in your software, and you haven't mentioned which of the several outputs on your LNBF you have connected to your COAX, as I think this may be important. The fact that it seemed to work when connected to DN makes me think you are connected to a CP port, but that is just a guess.
Good luck.
