Your LNBF may need up/down adjustment!
I was adjusting my 35" offset dish and found that the bar which holds the LNBF was not aligned correctly to point at the center of the dish. (Up and down.)
When I pointed the LNBF slightly downward, I got double the reading on my signal meter. I placed pieces of thick tape toward the back of the mounting bracket so the LNBF would sit slightly downward and get the best reading.
It is best to check this adjustment after the dish is *exactly* centered on a satellite. (Moving the dish up/down does not get a better signal.) Otherwise the better signal you receive could be that from pointing more directly at the satellite.
