Will this setup work with this DVB-S card? Do I need a switch or will the built in one on the satellite suffice? If I do need a switch, which one should I get, DiSEqC 4X1?

You won't be happy with the 18" DBS dish. There are only 2 FTA channels on dish NASA and the preview channel.

To get Ku, which is where most DVB FTA is you'll need a larger dish like the 90cm fortec.
