Software? TSReader or other?

What 3rd party software do the more experienced hobbyists prefer? I have heard TSreader is everyone's favorite.

Is anyone using the full version, or just the freeware "lite"?

JA

I use TSReader exclusively. Full version will let you stream the content for more than a minute (I believe that is the restriction of the lite version).

Thanks VJ and everyone...

What are your thoughts as far as using the card as a positioner? I think I saw another moderator say it would work with a good PC power supply.

Presently, I use my "Ultra" as a positioner-scanner & loop out to a QualiTV 1080IR.

Last night, after positioning the dish to AMC 3 with the Ultra, I powered down everything..... connected the coax from the dish directly to the 102G, booted the pc. The LNB power was "OFF", I set dish type to "Fixed" and immediately locked a TP. There should have been no power to the LNB. I don't get it. Checked my settings over and over again. The power had to come from the PC. I can work around this with no problem. Just wondering if you, or anyone else has seen this before?

Thanks VJ...

Can you help me with input setup settings? When I try to tune PBS on AMC 3, I am getting "failed to Lock". But if I exit, and open WinDVB, it tunes and locks.

I am using a Universal LNBf and I selected Twinhan 102G as my source during install.....

My input setup are:

D1, Auto select LNB between 0 .... 0 (unchecked)

LNB Type is "MultiBand" Low 9750 Hi 10600
switch freq is 0
voltage is set to "polarity"
tone is "off"

Any help is appreciated....

Jeff
