newbie to dvb-s need help

I currently pay for directv service. When I heard of dvb-s i thought this would be a great way to turn my computer into a pvr since most capture cards only get 112 channels.
Now can i still get dvb channels with my dish pointed at my diectv sat. I am pointed at the 101 w. I will be getting a cam reader too and using the smart card that came with one of my directv recivers. I had my house set up for three rooms, but only use two of them.
For the dvb-s card i am using a twihan visionplus ci. I get great singal strengthen at the moment but no quality and cant get any chanels.

I need help with getting chanels, for i tried the scaning for my directv and get nothing.

You can't do what you are trying to do. The Twinhan card is for FTA DVB signals. The signals on the 101w sat are not FTA DVB. There are very few conus services for which the card slot version of the Twinhan can be used currently.

Plus even if it was possible, directv does not use DVB standard and your Twinhan would not be able to even get a lock on Directv transponders.
