There are lnb's with low db 0.3, but that dosen't mean anything because some compoanies inflate the numbers just to sell.
I watch a weekly program called "Télé Satellite" on the internet. it's in French and they have a lot questions from their viewers about what the best lnb in the market and they always say that anthing less than 0.5 db is not possible and somtimes even a 0.7 db lnb can be better tahn a 0.5db depending in teh quality and circuits. They also say that teh temperature, humidity, clouds can affect the lnb performance.

this week program ws a bout one fix dish and 4 lnbs( very intersting to me + the French bouquet TPS new receicer + they answer questions that people aske them through their web site) if you know French or you speak some of it, you will be amazed by the amount of informatin that you will leran from them.
