Need help with new setup, work for about five minues

I am trying to setup for the first time a package with the TwinHan DVB card and a HH-90 motor and dish. I got the thing to scan some channels on Echostar7 but as soon as it found them it stopped working. I can't even get the thing to move the dish anymore. I think something is broken but what. The software comes up now but there is virtually no signal strength. I tried byassing the motor but stil no signal. Is it the LNB or the card?

Any ideas on what to try.

What kind of LNB are you using? Did you accidentally change the LNB settings or turned the LNB power off?

Did not change anything when it stoped

Really I just rebooted the machine from what I recall. And since then it has had no real signal strength. I actually get the same strength if I unhok the cable from the card. I have since made lots of changes. Including starting and stopping the power on the LNB using the software supplied with the card. I have a meter that I got when I bought everything but it registers nothing.

I am using the LNB that came with the kit which is suposed to be a Fortec star FSKU-v (Universal).

I have tried the thng in two seperate machines same thing happens.

Re: Did not change anything when it stoped

You are using wrong lnbf. You will need to get a circular one (either DirectTV/Dish Network lnbf).
Not many FTA channels on DishNetwork sats anyways.
