need help with AMC4

Finally I got my system working thanks to the use of a SAT FINDER made by ARIZA. Awesome tool!!!!
I never got to see AMC 5 but I was able to get AMC 4. Now I have a new question I hope somebody can answer. I'm receiving only 3ABN in english and spanish.
What can I do to receive KTEL-TV, KUIL-TV, HOME2US-TV. Can somebody tell me if I doing something wrong in my search. How am I supposed to Blind search?
I noticed that I have no signal quality on some verticals and some horizontals.
Do I need additional tweaking of my LNB?

Manually enter the transponder data. For example, for KIUL the frequency is 11,708, polarity is VERtical and symbol rate is 02170. Refer to the lyngsat charts for all the transponder settings.

amc 4

Bobkat, thanks for your prompt reply.
As you may know, I have a PANSAT 2500A with a WINEGARD antenna. Doing a smart search, I'm able to get a few viewable TV channels and 3 radio stations. My guess is that the "smart search" on the PANSAT must be a "blind search", that is the way I was able to succeed with my installation. Now my question, if you know about the PANSAT, is how do I manually enter the frequencies?
Do I have to enter them on every transponder based on LYNGSAT information, or the "smart search" procedure is good enough?
How about the SKEW setting on the PANSAT, do I leave it at 45 or -45 depending on the polarity?
One last question in reference to TAN-TV, I'm receiving it poor and the signal breaks and pixelates. All other channels are near perfect.
Texas KUIL-TV breaks once in a while, it is 90% good.
Do I need additional tweaking? Is that normal on KU?
Thanks for your patience and willingness to help.
On the other hand I hope my questions will help other members.

K; well, first of all if the signal is weak on certain transponders (which you say it is) then the blind search will not 'find' that transponder during its search, so you will have to manually enter that transponder. The procedure should be in your Pansat owners manual; if you don't have the manual its still pretty EZ to set it up; just play around with the menu settings -- you'll dig it before too long. As for skew setting, leave it alone; it is to adjust skew on a C-band dish; you don't have to worry about that.
I suggest setting the receiver on a weak transponder (one where you get the pixilation effects) and then drag the receiver and a small TV out to the dish and just go bananas tweaking that Winegard biatch...
