Does the LNB skew really matter?

I bought a complete system recently to receive some Arabic channels(FTA)(Telstar 5, 97 W) (Fortec Star, Lifetime Ultra).. the LNB doesn't have a measurement to know the exact skew. So, how can I know the exact skew? Honestly, I don't know much about satellites. I'm located in laramie,Wy; zip code: 82072. My Latitude and Longitude: 41.312907 N, 105.581146 W and according to this website calculator Elevation, Azimuth and LNB skew should be: 41.5, 167.1, -9.6 respectively.
Another thing, because I live in an apartment and the best view I have to the south is through a window in one of the rooms, would that work?!
Thanks a lot in advance.

With a compass you will need to point your dish to about 160 degrees for IA5. If you can stand at your window and see exactly 160 it *might* work.

I can say from any attempts I've had it would NOT work when I tried to shoot thru a closed window. I just could not position the dish at the right angle in order to get enough signal without some part of ot being blocked.
A patio sized door might have better luck, but even getting these lined up outside can be a challenge, putting a window in the mix can end up making it work very frustrating. Your best bet is mounting it outside.

With the LNB skew option, yours is a clockwise twist, put the bottom approx 7pm (from 6pm) that should be close. Skew is important, but isn't critical at your relatively low value.

Good luck.
