I bought one on ebay from a guy in the UK who lists them all the time.
After much PITA to get it paid for and get it here, yes it does work a little better. I had the Fortec .6 LNB that came with the package sold here (it is now shipping with upgraded/better LNB) so I did see a performance gain.
I suspect the one currently sold to be at par with the Invacom.

How much gain did i see? Not enough in my opinion to make it worth the hassle I went through to get it. On a scale of 1-100, I'd get a 70 signal level with the Fortec LNB. With the Invacom, it went to 76-78. Not much, but a little more. Once you get past 30 signal level on these digital signals, the picture is fine anyway so those extra 8 points really didn't do a thing.

At my location I wanted to receive G10R. Unfortunatly, there is a big tree in the neighbors yard 2 lots away, and if I had a higher gain LNB I was hoping for some signal thru the branches. Still no signal.

I also have invacomm lnb - getting Atlantic bird at 12.5 degrees west with 11.3 actual elevation on dish.

Signal power 68
Signal quality 98

Preety damn good if you ask me - lnb noise figure 0.3 db

Telstar 5 with Globecast American Lnb 68 % quality
with Invacomm universal lnb 88 % quality

Here is my personal experience

Should make up your own mind

Take care
