Multi Satellite setup 5+

I am trying to figure out how to connect more than 4 lnbs to one receiver. The max diseqc switch I have seen is 4x1, but I think that the FTA receivers like fortec, can handle more. Does anyone know how this can be done. Thanks.

If none of the lnbs are the universal type (9600-10600) you can also add in a 22khz switch. In fact you can add a 22khz to each leg after the 4x1 diseqc switch resulting in 8 lnb/switches. If they are universal ku lnbs however the 22khz tone will interfere with the lnb upper/lower band switching.

You can also , if the receiver has the capabilty, add a 0/12v switch and a 4x1 diseqc switch on each leg of that. resulting in 8 lnb/dishes.

You can also use a 0/12v, then 2 4x1 diseqc, then 8 22khz sitches resulting in 16 lnb/dishes.
