Unable to save change in LNB Frequency

Hello,

My dish system worked fine with standard LNB. Last week I bought a new universal LNB (FSKU-V). Since I am receiving signal from Galaxy 13 with TP frequency 11720 MHZ, I changed the LNB frequency from 10750 MHZ to 10600 MHZ. Unfortunately the quality of signal was 0%. Out of curiosity, I changed the LNB frequency to 9750 MHZ. Wow! I was able to watch all the programs immediately. However when I turned off the receiver (Coship 2000) and went back everytime, the LNB frequency was changed back to 10600 MHZ again and as the result I was not able to receive anything. In order to see the program, I have to go thru the same loop again. My questions are

1. Do I need to do something more in order to use the Univeral LNB?
2. Does my receiver only allow the standard LNB?

Thanks,

vb

Universal LNBF has 2 LO frequencies, 9750 and 10600. Not sure how Coship's setup looks like but if you van enter both that would be the best way to do it. If not, if you are using 9750 then 22khz tone should be off and if you are using 10600 than 22 khz should be on. That is how the receiver switches between 2 frequencies.
