Installation Help in Houston TX

I have a Pansat 2500a and a DTV 18" dish with a single lnb and haven't been able to get a signal.
Will this dish work in Houston or should I use another one?

What are similar set ups others are using in Houston?

Are there any professional installers in Houston? I'm about to give up and pay someone to install this for me.

thanks,

What satellite are you hoping to get? Most FTA satellites require at least a 30" dish and linear LNB.

Hi alf713.
I live in Missouri City, so we are very close. I have a Fortec ultra, a fortec star 90cm dish, an HH90 motor and a universal LNBF. I got all my stuff from Sadoun. Every thing is working great. I get almost every Ku satelite( except for T11), which is hard to get in houston(I think). Because I am on a wheelchair it was hard for me to install the dish my self, so I had it installed by a company in houston called Houston Media Systems. I will get there number and email it to you. Thanks.

Yep!! Installers in Houston usually charge about $50 an hour plus the house call fee. But since I had no choice, I looked at the quality of the work and the end result which was excellent.
