You have to get a lock on your south satellite first befor eyou attempt anything else. You have to select an active transponder (or else you will not see any signal quality). For SBS6 try, 11741 H, 6616SR (Ohio News Network). Make sure your pole is plumb an level, set your motor's latitude correctly and don't touch it anymore. move it as close to you south (including megnetic deviation) as possible. Set the dish elevation to what was specified in your motor's manual.
In antena setup go to SBS6 and using usals key in your longitude/latitue and have the motor move it self to SBS6. In SBS6 menu select above mentioned transponder. Start moving your whole setup (motor on the pole) manualy left and right in small increments until you get the strong signal/quality. Then adjust elevation up/down a little bit to get the strongest signal.
If you get this right, chances are you can then move to your eastmost and westmost satellites and get a good signal (you might have to make small adjustmensts, but if your pole is level and plumb you should be good to go).
