how to set up two LNBFs with a Diseqc switch?

I am trying to tight a circular LNBF to a standard linear LNBF to watch two birds with one dish.

The Diseqc 2.0 switch I have is a 4x1 type (I use only two ports for now). When the switch added, I lost my signal with my linear LNBF and the signal is back without the switch. I am wondering if the switch is bad (brand new) or just I am not setting thing right (e.g. lnbf power on/off, 0/14v on/off, 22k on/off etc.) For the circluar lnbf, what's the frequency I should set? Thanks for your help

In your boxes antenna setup, you should be able to set the diseqc port during the setup for the sat to be viewed.
Example, my Ultra cycles thru A & B, then 1, 2, 3, 4 for a dual and quad switch ports respectively.

Can you try to put your stuff on 3 & 4 and set the settings accordinly?

I've read these diseqc switches are cheaply made, would not surprize me in the least you could have defective switch. I have a 2x1 Pansat switch (I think the one Sadoun sells is a Pansat generic model, but don't hold me to that...) and it works great. The no-name ones that are sold endlessly on ebay I hear are junk.

Someone told me that I should LOF =11250 for the circular. Is it true in your setting? Do I need to turn on any power option?

You might be right that the cheap stuffs are too quick to burn. I've got diplxer from eBay that never work, so did a sat meter that worked once. This Diseqc switch comes with the receiver. It's a no-name brand so I am not sure about the quality.

11250 = yes for Dish LO freq.

I'd have to check, but yes I think LNB power = on.

Thanks.

Has anyone here tried to get two birds with one dish (4 degrees apart)? I have heard that's possible.
