Please help anyone throw me a rope

Ok I have spent 9 hours trying to get my FTA up and running. I have had as good as 74 sig but 0 quality I have scaned amc 4 and found a few channels when I tune to them they say TV Scramble? Do you think I have a bad LNB????

your lnb is probably fine, KU band satellite is very sensitive, just tweak it very little at a time

But at a 74 sig shouldn't i get something in the quality graph?

you could point it at a brick wall, and it will show that you have a signal, aim the dish in the area you think it should be at, then slowly move it left to right, if nothing up,down , KU band is a very small window to aim a dish at, you must be within 1" to get a good signal,and quality

Pinpoint AMC 4

I got AMC 4 in but it was a hassel at first. I used a signal meter SF95 and a combination of it plus a small TV and the receiver placed so I could see the screen and tweek the levels.

I had trouble at first but when I switched from Universal LNB to Normal KUB, I got the quality to show up. Then just tweek and little at a time till you get good quality.

A lot of the channels are scrambled. Use a TP that has something on it, then download the channels.
