Dual LNB tied together

I have a Universal fortec LNB and a DN Circular LNB tied right next to it. Now my question is what is the optimal way to adjust this DN LNB to have good signal strength? I have it on a 90cm fortec dish.

To give you some ideas should I match it with the fortec LNB's distance from the dish or closer towards the dish?

Should it be higher or lower than the Fortec LNB? Or should it just be as bestly matched as the fortec lnb to get it close to the focal point? Thanks!

The signal on those satellites is strong enough that it is not that big of a deal. I have mine tied right next to the universal lnb (to the right of it when looking from the back).

Sadoun has a sample picture on his installation support website that is pretty much exactly the same as how I have it.

Where are you pointing your dish when you are using your cirular lnb?

For me on 31" dish with LNB exectly like in the picture above (universal in the middle where LNB is supposed to go and circular tied to the left when stand ing in front of the dish), circular lnb is about 5 degrees to east. Basically if I have my dish pointed to 96 W, circular LNB is picking up 91W.

Well I use a SG2100 motor so the DN sats I program in I use Disqec 1.2 to manually correct for the offset. But I was saying that I lose signals too easily on DN. There are also many transponders on DN sats with different strenghts so I can never really determine the optimal position for the dish. I wish I knew the WEAKEST transponder so I can make my adjustments based on that and the rest would be the best they can be.

I have both circular and linear lnbf on my motorized 90cm. DN comes in strong from Echo3 @ 61W to Echo4 at 158W. You might need to reposition the circular lnbf higher/lower a bit to find the optimal position. Off coure dish needs to track the arc precisely.
