Universal LNB question

Is universal LNB (from Sadoun store) compartable with DN LNB and vise versa?

What is the diffirence between universal and linear LNB ? Can I use universal LNB to receive DTV programming?

A universal LNB is a linear LNB. Linear LNBs pick up Vertical and Horizontal polarities also. You can use Universal Linear to recieve Dishnetwork programming only on thier international channel satellites (Echostar 9) but there is no FTA on there so it is scrambled. The rest of DN's regular sats need a Circular LNB, and circulars dont need polarization adjustment and have Right and Left polarities.
