You will not get any channels until you have a "Quality" reading. The signal level is not as important as "Quality" when aligning your dish. In fact, some receivers will show a signal level even without the LNB connected. What satellite are you trying to receive and what kind of dish and LNB do you have?

BobKat,
Thank you for your respond. I have a AZURE-SHINE 76cm offset with rolled lip edges. the dish is mounted to a satellite motor PM900 with USAL function. the LNB is Gosspell universal Ku band LNBF, and the receiver is Pansat 2500A. And for the satellite my frend told me try to get T-5/KU, but at this time I take anything it work. I live in Casa Grande arizona, 45miles south of Phoenix.
Again thanks for your help.

OK; I guess your dish is already mounted and aligned? All you need to do is set the LNB L.O. frequency to 10,600 MHz (for the universal LNB). Then you must configure the receiver for DiSEqC 1.2 or 1.3 (USALS). Then make sure the transponder frequency, polarity and symbol rate match those shown on www.lyngsat.com for T5 (IA5). If T5 is the only satellite you want to get then just move the motor manually west or east and watch the screen until you get a "Quality" reading. Then do a satellite scan search and the receiver will download the available channels.
If you want to get more satellites then you will need to set up the USALS function. For this you should ask dtsexpert or vj9999 because I am not really that familiar with USALS stuff.

What transponder on T5 were you set to when you looked for signal?

azman; you are gonna hafta go after a strong bird...try Echo 7 at 119W.use USALS to try it first, then manually work on improving signal.
