I just installed my dish and set up per instruction manual, after I done with the dish, I hook up the cable to Pansat 2500A reciever, and turn on the power, I go thru the manual to continute the set up, after I done all of these things. I got 82% level and 0% quality. What I did I do wrong?, and what should i do next. What quality mean?

The following is the equipment that I have:
Pansat 2500A reciever.
DiSEqC Motor PM900/ Dish.
DiSEqC 4X1 Switch.

Please help, I am new to this toy.

you have probably pointed your dish at the wrong satellite.did you setup your true south bird and adjust for magnetic deviation? ..is your lnb LOF setting correct?..is your lnb setting correct?

Thank you swamthang7. I did try to set the dish/motor true south by using small compass, I do not know if my lnb setting correct or not, will you help me how to set my lnb. I did using 1.2 to rotate the dish E/W but the receiver still shown level 82% quality 0%.

you will need to determine which bird is your most southerly one.Then you will need to key in to it and the lnb will need to match what you are pointing towards.Then you will need to know which is an active transponder.Do you have a satfinder?If not,you should have the receiver and a small tv near the dish as you operate it.Your LOF settings need to correspond as well.You are gonna need some step by step help.There are some VERY helpful links in the forum...try a search and look thru the index and do some reading;I will try to post some links later.
