How do you cap switch!

What do you use to cap the ends of a Diseqc switch that are not in use. I tried a standard cable terminator and it gets HOT...did I say it gets HOT. Will a plastic cap do the trick or will it still lose signal with the plastic cap?

Don't cap it with anything. Those plastic caps are OK but not really necessary.

Bobkat;...I use 75 ohm terminators;supposedly they stop bleedover when scanning. Not sure if they are efficient or not,but they are 35 cents each and I sell them for a buck.I think to keep moisture out,I'd just stick with the plastic caps and some sealant.Cheers from soggy SW fla. 8)
