Yes, absolutely.
As long as its not the newer DishPro type LNBs -- probably not.

I'm sure BEV will eventually switch to DishPro. They always follow the lead of DishNetwork -- just takes them longer to do it... They haven't started using DishPro because they don't need it...yet.

well i did a install today for bev and used a dishnet legagy twin.
no problems detecting it. worked great.
at least they are somewhat getting close to d-net.
i also had a call from a bev customer who has 3 revievers and called bell to install them. well turns out that they dont have clue how to do it with one dish. so he called bell and told him to buy a splitter and that would do it. lol.....
so he called them back after talking to me and it turns out bell doesent cary any sw type switches other than sw21 and never heard of a quad.
so ya your right the still pretty far behind

I believe it is a 21x not a sw 21. that is buit in.
The reason i think that is because when i do a 3 sat setup with a legacy twin I use a sw21 for the third sat. and the check switch comes up correct.
and on a 3 sat setup with all seperate dishes i use 119 110 into 21x and
input that into sw21 with 61.5 and then to reciever.
As for disecq i believe i read that take both outputs from twin insert into 1
and 2 on disecq and on setup menu on reciever freq range of lnb on #1 and #2 has to be adjusted to suit.
I cant find where I found that on the forums, but if you find it let me know
thanks...

Actually the switching technology of the Legacy twin (aka "FatBoy") is based on the SW42, not the 21 or 21x.

Here is a wiring diagram I found that shows the hookup.
