Disquec switch

Have 4 port switch and have 2 LNB's one on 119 and one on 110 the signals are strong on both. can get either satellite individually but when I attach the switch only 110 will come through, I have the 22hz on OFF and I have 110 on port 2 and 119 on port 1, anyone have a solution? PLEASE!!!

what is your location?I'm getting what I think is storm interference,here in florida.could be something else,not sure. :?

I am in arkansas and I cannot get the switch to work at all if I get 119 in the 8,6 won't come in and if I get 110 to work then 119 will not come through. I have 99% quality on most transponders. Have any Ideas

if you're only using 2 ports, can you try ports 3 & 4 instead?

(just a guess, I have 2 port switch and it works OK. Not sure if a switch would be fussy or not if 1 & 2 dont have anything on them when 3 & 4 did...)

Not sure what kind of receiver you have but did you make sure to set up one satellite as "LNB 1" and the second as "LNB 2"? Just eliminating the obvious causes first before we dig into the problem.

Sorry I should have said that I did enter the numbers 110 on 2 and 119 on 1, I also have switched them around to see if that made any difference and so far it hasn't.

I beleive you have to have switch on for 1 port only, that way it will switch between the 2

Thanks for the help, yes I checked and double checked to make sure all the connections matched what I had on the control panel. and I tried switching to 3 and 4 port still no change.
