getting no signal from apartment

hey peeps,

trying to get 110 from my tripple lnb dtv buitl in multi switch with a fortec lifetime.
i turned off the parental control, the lavel is at 78 at all time but sometimes switches a little. but no quality.

-what about transponder can and how do i change them.

-i ordered a signal meter, will that help me or its bogus!

-since a got a built in switch, do i have to turn the switch in the options

-do i need more angle since im in a basement.

one more . if i'll be pointing at 110 and 119 wich other satellite close by could provide me with european channels???????????

First off. With that size dish you will only be able to receive signal on Echo and nimiq satellites. Also LNB is circular so it won't be of much use for any other satellites.

Second, I am unclear as what programming you are looking to receive with that setup? Keep in mind that we only discuss FTA on here.

I do not think you can use the multiswitch in this setup...I could be wrong.try everything with a small stationary dish till you get signal and go from there.

sorry about nthat last post,it was a test.Jonc313;...did you get things working?With a dtv multiswitch,you are stationary at 9 degrees apart,so you can get101,110,and 119.OR you can get110,119,and 126.(check lyngsat for info)...or you can go in the opposite direction.your skew is available from many sources.
