Installers FLA?

Just wondering if we have any Florida installers (hollywood) Out there?
31" Fortec dish and hh 100 motor.

I bought the same system. I looked and asked around for installers but couldn't find any at all that would do a FTA system. So, I'm doing it myself. Digging the hole for the mast, pouring the concrete, etc. I'm waiting for the cement to harden right now and I just received my order today so we'll se how it goes on the equipment installation.

Hello again.

Dish is up ! SMS3D12 motor with a FORTEC 786na.
AMC5 excellent and the live TP's for Tel5 excellent. Can not see G10 and many others peeks out at 70 .
LAT 26 long 80.1
Elv 42

Missing MANY FTA channels Confused . :roll:

I'll keep on reading in the mean time. !!!

70 should bring in picture.my guess is your true south is off a degree or two.

DJLS;...hmmm;usually it is the other way around.all i can offer is to check connections,cable,obstructions,and start with one bird and try to tweak it in. :?:

Don't know how the song thread got in here, anyway.

Once I had the true south satellite lined up I had to peak East and Wests satellites before I could get G10 and others.

The whole install wasn't easy but you just have to keep plugging at it. The best advice I can give is "baby steps".

I didn't get too far until I ran a cable back outside and hooked up a 13" TV to it so I could nudge the dish hear and there to get the best signal.
